Added to Optimism ecosystem
We’ve had our Optimism bridge for a while. ICYMI, here are the stats: Umbria Narni Bridge — cost: $0.32 speed: 2.5 minutes
However, September saw us added to the Optimism ecosystem 🎉 With this increased profile, we’re looking forward to improving the UX for many more users and helping onboard greater numbers quickly and cheaply to this popular Layer 2 scaling solution.

Online Blockchain provides progress update on Umbria
Online Blockchain (LSE:OBC), which acts as Umbria’s advisor, co-ordinator and administrator, gave a progress update to the market, which amongst other things included details of our addition to the Arbitrum and Fantom ecosystems and the launch of the Optimism bridge.

Finyear Interview
Dev Barnyard and Dev Oskii gave the lowdown on why cross-chain interoperability is vital in today’s multi-chain space and why the ability to onboard communities to different blockchains quickly, easily and cheaply is one of the key components for crypto mass adoption.

Umbria co-founder, Barney Chambers talks to Stefania about the Layer 2 Ethereum scaling solution from a developer’s POV. He discussed why projects build on Arbitrum, the community interest in the network and why Umbria chose to implement an Arbitrum bridge.
Steven Goldfeder, CEO of Offchain Labs (developer of Arbitrum), explained what differentiates Arbitrum from other Layer 2 solutions and the network’s Nitro upgrade. He also reveals more about Arbitrum One and Arbitrum Nova.
