Umbria Aurora — October Digest
As well as a lot of dev work this month for implementing Binance Smart Chain on the Narni bridge, we’ve been focusing on partnering and working with different projects to introduce their communities to Umbria Network and the world of fast and cheap bridging 🎉
Aavegotchi frens
First up for the month, we announced our partnership with Aavegotchi. Umbria now supports the cross-chain migration of Aavegotchi’s GHST token, and we’re the cheapest and fastest way to transfer GHST from Ethereum to Polygon and back again.
GHST tokens are used to buy DeFi-powered ‘Gotchi’ avatars — playable NFTs — and other goods in the popular Aavegotchi game, which is integrated into the AAVE DeFi platform. Holders of the token can also earn a nice APY on their asset with Narni’s Pool and Earn.

FunkoBits
FunkoBits — a collection of 10,000 random and unique characters generated with python — is another promising NFT project on Polygon. We’ve partnered up, and our own Dev Oskii even has FunkoBits #1

Shroom Folk NFT

Polygon reigns supreme for its scalable, secure and fast Ethereum transactions and its vast experience and presence in the DeFi and NFT space. This is why we partnered with them. We’ve submitted our entry for the FF Awards for the category of BEST WOW IN BLOCKCHAIN.

Dev Barnyard and Dev Oskii joined DeFi Singapore to give a complete guide to DeFi bridges. They talked about how they operate within the DeFi ecosystem and unpacked the inner workings and key benefits. Tune in to get all the answers to the questions you were afraid to ask!
Coming up
Don’t miss the first DeFi Clinic with @OskiiDev and @devbarnyard hosted by crypto specialist Stefania Barbaglio. It’ll be a broad church and will give beginners the opportunity to understand what DeFi is all about and ask all their questions. Those more experienced in the space can quiz the team on any highly technical aspects. It’ll be fun and informative.
