A team that offers the best of all worlds
The Umbria project is experimental and pioneering by nature and boasts lead developers Oscar Chambers and Barney Chambers, who have a long-standing history of opensource software development and cryptocurrency development. Francesca De Franco, Matthew Collom and Stefania Barbaglio make up the PR and Marketing function; each member has a robust understanding and proven experience in financial services dating as far back as dot com.
UK-publicly listed Online Blockchain plc is acting as Umbria’s coordinator, administrator, and advisor. Online Blockchain (OBC) has been an innovator and incubator in finance and technology for over 20 years and brings a high level of expertise and credibility to Umbria. As a listed company, OBC provides a level of transparency rare in the crypto and DeFi space. The Online Blockchain team comprises of financial entrepreneurs and gurus with a combined 60+ years in the finance and internet industry: Bill Louden, internet pioneer, former GE & News Corp. executive, serial entrepreneur; Clem Chambers, Co-founder of ADVFN plc and Online Blockchain Plc, Forbes columnist and leading technology innovator with a proven track record in the tech and financial services sectors; and Chairman of Online Blockchain PLC and ADVFN plc Michael Hodges, who has over 36 years experience in computer software development and publishing.
